How to Use Presto For All Baking: Always omit adding baking powder and salt; Always sift Presto once before measuring, unless otherwise stated in recipe; If recipe calls for cake flour, substitute an equal amount of Presto; If recipe calls for all-purpose flour, substitute an equal amount of Presto plus 2 tablespoons more per cup; If recipe calls for baking soda and sour milk, substitute regular milk and omit baking soda; If recipe calls for cocoa, sour cream, or buttermilk, use only 0.25 teaspoon of baking soda per cup of Presto.
