Chicken Thighs with Yellow Rice - Sunny D

Directions

  1. Prepare your onion and slice very thinly, as well as mincing your garlic.
  2. In a bowl, add your chicken thighs with the olive oil, soy sauce and SUNNYD.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, and the stripped thyme.
  4. Toss and let marinate for 1 hour (optional)
  5. Keep the onions in the bowl. Turn on the grill to a high heat, and cook the chicken on each side for 4 minutes. This is to create a nice sear on the skin.
  6. Once cooked on both sides, pour over some of the left over marinade onto the chicken and cover. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. On a separate burner, sauté the onions until fully cooked.
  8. Serve the chicken and onions over rice!! Garnish with fresh parsley.

  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 bone in, skin on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 Cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup SUNNYD Tangy Original
  • 2 Tbs Oregano
  • 2 Tbs Salt
  • 2 Tbs Black Pepper
  • 3 Thyme Sprigs, stripped
  • Parsley, minced (for garnish)
