Place eggs in a pot, adding water to cover by one inch. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once water is boiling, reduce to a low flame and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove eggs and place immediately into an ice bath

Slice black olives into rounds for spider bodies. Place one round on each deviled egg. Cut additional olives for legs and arrange three slices per side to complete the spider decoration
